In Loving Memory of Wanda Jean Black

May 20, 1943 – March 9, 2022

Wanda Jean Black, age 78, left this Earth to be with her loving husband, Carl Black, in heaven on March 9, 2022. Wanda is survived by her 4 children; Jeannie Lee Coonrod, James Decatur Black, Carl Lee Black, Jr., Michelle Black Rowe with husband, Steve Rowe.

As luck would have it, she was very blessed to have 12 grandchildren; Shawn 👼, Shane, Shawna, Sarah, Antwoine, Cory, Chelsea, Nathan, Hannah, Buster, Amanda and Atticus. She also was a great-grandmother to 20 beautiful children; Cane, Rain, Malia, Angel 👼, Mia, Shae, Gage, Emma, Raelin, Mason, Aaron, David, Nayely, Amaris, Zephyr, Willow, Zaiden, A.J. Emeri, and Levi.

Wanda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved working with the Grand Prairie school district substituting wherever needed. She also loved creating many beautiful oil paintings throughout her life. Wanda had a heart of gold and will live on through her family and friends!
