Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of Terry David McHenry, 80, of Arlington, TX. He passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2026, surrounded by his family, after a long illness.

Terry was born in Shidler, OK, on February 4, 1946, to Wesley and Lela McHenry. He was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He was a baker for over 40 years and loved playing softball. He was a beloved husband of 45 years, a wonderful father, and a proud grandfather. No words can express the heartbreak of this loss. He was kind, giving, hardworking, and lived for his family. Cherished by all who knew him. He will truly be missed and never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by (parents) Wesley and Lela McHenry, (brothers) Rick and Hal McHenry, (sister) Joyce Williams, (wife) Vikki, and (daughter) Patricia McHenry. He is survived by (brother) Steve McHenry of Shidler, OK, (daughter) Theresa Schubert, (granddaughters) Camryn and Caitlyn Schubert of Arlington, TX, and (daughter) Kelly and husband Arthur Mota, and (granddaughter) Antonia Mota of Mansfield, TX, along with multiple nieces and nephews.

A private inurnment will take place at DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
