Sterling Thomas Templeton Jr., "Tom", was born on June 10, 1954 and peacefully passed away on March 5th, 2024. He was a long time resident of Irving, TX.

Tom was born in 1954, in Wichita Falls, to Mary Lois Watson Templeton and Sterling Thomas Templeton Sr. He was a graduate of Nimitz High School. Following graduation, he went to electrical trade school where he earned his master electrician license. He was a long time employee of both Mills Electric and Petri Electric. To name a few, his work can be witnessed across the Dallas Skyline, The Gaylord, and Parkland Health Hospital.

Tom was a member of the Pentecostal church and loved to share his faith with others. In his time, Tom found joy in competing in bowling tournaments and leagues. He also enjoyed working puzzles, playing darts, and witnessing his family's achievements.

He is survived by his daughter, Myra Templeton, and her Fiancé, Issac Humphries, of Irving, TX and his two granddaughters, Taylor and Caitlyn Tointigh, of Irving, TX. Tom is also survived by his sister, Glenda White, and her husband, Perry, of Rhome, TX, sister, Norma Williams, of Paris, TX, brother, Ricky Templeton, of Grand Prairie, TX, sister, Zita Templeton, of Paris, TX, and sister, Jennifer Johnson, and her husband, Dave, of Paris, TX. Tom was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
