Stephen Ray Cook, age 59, passed away on December 7th, 2024, in Dallas, Texas surrounded by his loved ones. Stephen was born in 1965 to Cecil Marvin Cook and Helen Octavia Cabler. Stephen was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Growing up Steve was the youngest sibling out of six children. He lead a life that most people wouldn't believe. He had a million stories to tell and you'd always want to sit around and listen to every word. The most popular one happened to be about an ostrich that took joy in terrorizing Steve whenever they saw each other.

Steve had a heart of gold and there wasn't anything he wasn't willing to do to help out his family and friends. You could always count on him to be there for you.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Marvin Cook and Helen Octavia Cabler; Sisters Betty Ann Windle and Frances Louise Jenkins.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy; sister Linda Cook of Franklin; Rachel Cook of Franklin; Marvin Cook of Fort Worth; Nephew Scotty Cannon of Grand Prairie; Nephew Louis Cook and wife Kacee of Arlington; Niece LeAnn Wagoner and husband Preston of Venus; Nephew Jason Cook and wife Whitney of Red Oak; Nephew Cameron Cook; Niece Callie Cook and multiple great nephews and nieces; Haydn, Kade, Lyric, Blayton, Briley, Wyatt, Paige, Presley, Oaklynn, Cayson & Avery.
