Shirley Anne Wiedeman was born August 4, 1934 in Seattle, Washington. She passed away on June 4th after complications from a fall. She earned an Associate Degree; and was a hard worker her entire life. She was a "dear and faithful friend" to many through the years. At the age of 55, she turned her life around by working the Alcoholics Anonymous program. Through the AA program she helped countless women believe in second chances and to find peace. Others say, "I treasure her wit, her wisdom, her eternal kindness." She will be remembered for "her love of God and her love of life."

She loved writing, spending time with family, reading, and going to auctions and garage sales. Shirley was always looking for treasures, many times in her own backyard when the tide went out. How she loved the water?!

Survived by daughters Kay Owen of Ft. Worth and Carol Mitchell, sister Jackie and Charles Voelker of the Spokane area, sister-in-law Melissa Wiedeman, granddaughter Angelina and Tim Brown of Flower Mound, great grandchildren Alana and Andrew Brown and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ina 'Kay' (Hamma) Wiedeman, her father, David Augustus Wiedeman, her grandson Joseph Lucas Casburn, her son Michael Walter Bentley, and her brother Michael David Wiedeman.
