Sharon Kay Schmidt, 61, passed away at Mansfield Methodist Medical Center on September 23, 2021 from a silent and swift battle with lung cancer, undiagnosed and unbeknownst to her.

Sharon is predeceased by her brother Michael Schmidt of Cambridge, Wisconsin and parents Margaret Elaine Schmidt, nee Stenli, and James Carl Schmidt of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Sharon is survived by her husband Brian Fell of Arlington, Texas and three children: son Alexander "AJ" Fell of Vernon, Tx; daughter Adrienne Hamm (William Brownfield) of Arlington, Tx; and son Mitchell Fell of Grand Prairie, Tx. She is also survived by one grandson Christopher Guerra-Fell also of Vernon, Texas. She has 4 surviving brothers who include Steven (Judene) Schmidt; James D. Schmidt, William Schmidt and half-brother Jon (Janet) Schmidt who all currently reside in Wisconsin.

Sharon was born in Aurora, Illinois in 1960, but grew up in Wisconsin until 1985 when she and her husband Brian and son AJ relocated to Texas where she spent her remaining years raising her family.Brian and Sharon spent almost 43 years together married. She worked as a data entry keypuncher for large companies such as Fairbanks Morris and Horchow until 1996 when she transitioned to being a full time stay at home mom. She was a loving mother and homemaker and devoted her life to her family.
Sharon enjoyed keeping up with her reality tv programs, celebrating in her children's successes, and loved family game nights. She was a dedicated, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

The memorial will be held at Rush Creek Church (Mansfield West location) 2200 U.S. 287 Frontage Rd. Mansfield, Tx. 76063 on October 23, 2021 at 3 P.M. A reception will follow at the family home in Arlington with some of Sharon's favorite meals.

**Special thanks goes out to American Forensics for accepting Sharon's case and discovering lung cancer as her primary cause of death. Due to the COVID 19 circumstances, autopsies are not as readily available. BIG THANKS goes out to the family and friends who donated funds for us to be able to get an autopsy and find some closure.
