Obituary

Sanjuana "Janie" Silva-Gomez was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed on from this world on May 17, 2021 at age 65.
She was born to Jesusa Salazar and Rueben Silva on March 10, 1956. She had been married to her husband Ruben Gomez for 34 years. She is survived by her husband, Ruben Gomez; her siblings, David Silva and Diana Salazar; her daughter, Robin Ramos; her step-children, Ruben Gomez Jr., Sonja Lara, and Becky Hernandez; 14 grandkids; and 19 great-grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Willie Silva, Ignacio Silva, Rudolfo Silva, Margarita Melendez, and Rachel Ozuna.
Sanjuana dedicated her life to caring for others, spending the majority of her working life as a caregiver for the elderly. She was always willing to take people in in their time of need. If you were in trouble whether you were on speaking terms or not she'd let it go and be there for you. She loved to cook for her husband and to listen to music. She never stopped her active lifestyle, always looking for something new to take on. She could find a way to have fun doing anything whether it be household chores, going to work with her husband, or going to work on her own. She had a lot of love to give and she made sure her family felt it. She will be dearly missed.
