Sandra Yvonne Balous, 57, passed away on Sunday October 11, 2020.
Sandra was born on July 2, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas to Kenneth Caldonia Balous and Thelma Louise Shanklin. She was the youngest of 5 children, and the only child born to the union of Kenneth and Thelma Balous.
Sandra accept Jesus Christ at an early age which lead her to be an actively involved in church. Sandra was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church in Waxahachie Texas and a chartered member of Greater St. Stephens First Church in Fort Worth Texas, where she used her talents in photography and computers. Sandra attended school in the FWISD; college at TCC and graduated from Mid America Nazarene University in Oletha, Kansas with a Bachelor's degree.
Sandra's love of electronics and computers lead her to Texas Instruments; Motorola and Sprint for 18 years where she worked as a project manager; and owned a calligraphy/photography studio called "Photography by Sandra Y. Balous", where she mentored young girls to pursue their natural talents, dreams and coached them to become leaders of tomorrow.
Sandra was preceded in death by both parents; her sister, Beverly; and brother, David.
She is survived by her sister, Judy L. Ravenell; sister, Glenda J. Garrett; aunt, Luberta Franklin-Stafford; and numerous family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
