Ruth Solorzano, age 61, was born May 22, 1960, in Idalou, Texas. She passed away peacefully Thursday, January 27, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Sr. and Guadalupe Solorzano; Sisters, Mary Isabel; Mary Jane Waisner; Jolanda (Juan) Salinas; Brother-in-law Julian Gonzales; Nephew Brian Littleton; Great Nephew Joshua Solorzano.

Ruth is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Mary Ann Littleton (BJ); David Solorzano (Sally); Manuel Solorzano (Denise); Sylvia Jefferson (Randy); Cathey Gonzales; Samuel Solorzano;  Peter Paul Solorzano (Diane); Melissa Solorzano Garcia;  Norma Solorzano-Alonso (Martin), many Nieces, Nephews, Great- Nephews/Nieces, Great-Great Nephews/Nieces  and extended family members.

Memories of Ruth that made her special to us. She had  a fierce love for God as well as for her family. To quote her  "I love my family!" She was loyal to her Sunset Bison's keeping an over forty year relationship with  several of her soccer teammates.  Her passion was buying, selling and trading at local flea markets where she  made  many friendships that she cherished.  Ruth was a person that always put others first. She was always encouraging and uplifting with her words. She loved people, loved to laugh and she loved life!
