In Loving Memory of Roxie Rodriguez
April 7, 1969 – July 22, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roxie Rodriguez, who peacefully left this world on July 22, 2026, at the age of 57, after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer and acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

Roxie was a remarkable woman whose kindness, compassion, and generous spirit touched everyone she met. She never knew a stranger and was a true friend to all. Her warm smile, caring heart, and ability to make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to know her.

The greatest joy in Roxie's life was the love she shared with her devoted wife, Brandy Guthrie. Together they built a life filled with laughter, unwavering support, and countless treasured memories. Roxie also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs and cats, who were cherished members of her family.

She had a passion for softball, where her competitive spirit and love of teamwork shined. She found joy in scrapbooking, preserving precious memories for those she loved, and she embraced all things art, expressing her creativity in everything she did. Whether creating, cheering on others, or simply spending time with family and friends, Roxie lived each day with purpose and heart.

Throughout her battle with ovarian cancer and AML leukemia, Roxie displayed incredible courage, strength, and grace. She faced every challenge with determination, inspiring everyone around her with her resilience and unwavering spirit.

Roxie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Carolyn; her father, Roy; her grandparents; and her beloved uncles, Robby and Danny.

She is lovingly survived by her wife, Brandy; her niece, Sydnie, and husband, Will; her beloved goddaughter, Daphne (Booger); her aunts, Betty, Donna, Gloria, Eva, Helen, and Kay; her uncles, Freddy, Val, David, and Lee; numerous cousins; and an immeasurable number of dear friends who became the family she chose and who, in turn, chose her. Each of them was blessed by Roxie's love, loyalty, and unwavering friendship.

While her passing leaves an unimaginable void, Roxie's legacy of love, kindness, generosity, creativity, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She taught us the value of compassion, the importance of friendship, and the beauty of loving without limits. Although she is no longer with us in person, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all whose lives she touched.
