Maxine Pond, peacefully slipped the bonds of her body at her home in Bethesda Gardens Assisted Living Center in Arlington Texas. She was 90 years young.  She was born on her family farm near Kelton Texas in Wheeler County to Aubrey and Thelma Stovall Pond.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters BulaBell and Audrey Mae, Brother Doyle, grandson Barrett and ex-husband Lonnie .  She is survived by her son Terry Miller of Yukon, Oklahoma and daughter Lonna Miller of Arlington Texas; three grandchildren Callie, Byron and Nikki, two great-grand children Lindsey and Zachary and one great-great- granddaughter Phoenix.

Maxine loved to sew, garden and sing.  She was a member of the Baptist Church all of her life. She had many jobs through the years. She trained as an LVN, worked as a secretary in Dumas and in the County Clerk's Office in Colorado Springs before running a Variety Store in Callahan Colorado. She was loved and will be missed.

Maxine will have her ashes placed beside her parents at the Kelton Cemetery in a private ceremony.
