Rodney Dale Chapin, age 51, passed away on December 25, 2022 in Arlington, Texas. He was born August 13, 1971 in Terrell, Texas to Willie and Shirley Chapin. He was a graduate of Greenville High School in 1989. He married Sandra Smith on September 26, 1996 in Greenville, Texas. He worked most of his life as an Automechanic enjoying tinkering with classic cars. Rodney truly lived life to the fullest through love and laughter from his friends and family. When not working he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and burning out of residential streets. Rodney was an avid Star Wars collector, spending majority of his free time collecting every piece he could find and watching that Star Wars saga on repeat. He enjoyed spending time with friends and sharing many memories. Rodney leaves many to cherish his memory always and forever in their hearts. He is survived by his wife Sandra. His children Brandon, Kirsten, Kim and many adoptive children who wandered into the house. His family members: Shirley Chapin - mother, Kenneth Lasenberry - brother, Debbie Goforth - sister, Kathy Johnson- sister, Elizabeth Blackwell - sister and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Rodney has gone to be with his father Willie Chapin and brother Preston Chapin.

Celebration of Life will be held at South Center Baptist Church on December 29, 2022 at 7 pm.
