Robin Jean (Lee) Marshall, age 69, of Grand Prairie, TX passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at Green Oaks Care facility in Arlington, TX after a long battle with cancer. She was born January 16, 1956, in Burlington, IA to Roger Lee and Bettyjean (Funk) Lee Hays. She was a 1974 graduate of New London High School and later became a cosmetologist working in salons in Arizona, Iowa and Texas.  In 1977, she married JD Marshall. They later divorced.

Those who knew Robin will remember her for her infectious smile, overwhelming laughter and the way she made a lasting impact on all who crossed her path. We sing a hallelujah knowing she is no longer in pain and is now in heaven beside family members who have gone before her.

She is survived by her daughters, Tyson (Brandon) Sliger of St. Johns, FL, and  Jamion (Jason) Yates of Atlanta, GA; and her son, Tryston (Katie) Marshall-Dameron of Grand Praire TX; partner, Joel Phillips of Grand Prairie, TX; grandchildren, Taylor, Emmalee, Rylee, Brynlee Sliger; Nathaniel and Donovan Yates; mother, Bettyjean (Funk) Lee Hays of New London IA; stepmother, Diane (Meyer) Lee of Burlington, IA; brother, Greg (Vicki) Lee of Burlington, IA; and, sister, Rhonda (Alan) Lutenegger of Sunderland MA; and several nieces and nephews.

Robin was preceded in death by her father, Roger Lee, her partner, Ronald Dameron, her grandson, Rory Marshall Yates, and her step father, Delven Hays.

She was cremated on April 21, 2025, and her children will have a private service for her in Grand Prairie, TX.
