Robert "Bobby" Duncan Rayel, 78, passed away on Friday February 5, 2021.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m./p.m. on April 23, 2021 in the Bethel Section of Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth and will be officiated by Rabbi Brian Zimmerman. Bobby elected to be cremated. If attending, please observe established COVID-19 guidelines and social distancing for everyone's safety and comfort.
Bobby was born on November 11, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas to William Allen Rayel and Carolyn Rose Gernsbacher. After graduating from R.L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth, he then attended TCU where he later announced all the football and basketball games for several decades. Bobby also announced the Fort Worth Stock Show for several years, was a Fort Worth police officer, and had many other jobs and made many friends. For over 30 years, Bobby was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Bobby is survived by his son, Robert Rayel; sister, Linda Aliberti (ne Rayel) and husband, Joe; and numerous friends.
