Robbie Drake Brunson passed away peacefully (surrounded by family and friends, on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Robbie (aka Gmom) is survived by her husband, Rick, son Rustin and Daughter-in-love Amanda, two granddaughters, Mackenlie and Annistyn; great-aunt, Mary Ellen McCanless) and many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Drake and Bill Drake.

Robbie loved going "antiquing" (member of the Fort Worth Women's Antique Club),shopping with close friends, tending to her flowers and her garden, spending time on arts and crafts and that was just in her spare time. Robbie was a kindergarten teacher for 27 years (Lead Teacher, Teacher of the Year, PTA Lifetime Membership), team mom for all of Rustin's various activities growing up and service to God in her many church and community activities.

Most of all Robbie greatly loved her family, equal partner to Rick, a supportive and nurturing mom to Rustin. She totally enjoyed and was blessed by her Daughter-in-Love, Amanda and the role that gave her the most joy was as Gmom to granddaughters, Mackenlie and Annistyn.

The Memorial is set for 2pm, Friday, April 11th at First Methodist Church Mansfield (777 N. Walnut Creek, Mansfield, Texas 76063).
