Raquel Quezada Olmos, 82, passed away November 1, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Abdon and Sostenes Quezada; and her sons, Carlos and Silvano Olmos.

She is survived by her daughters, Raquel Olmos and Rosa Olmos-Garner; her son-in-law, Kevin Garner; grandchildren, Jonathan Matthew Jimenez, Andrea Karrina Olmos, Damian Cain Olmos, Michael Frances Olmos, Breanna Alicia Olmos, Araceli Sostenes Garner and Nathanael Abdon Garner; her sisters, Bani Quezada, Orpha Levario; and brother, Noe Quezada; as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Raquel was a woman of strong faith in Jesus her Lord and Savior. She loved the Lord and lived according to God's word as much as possible. The fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control were evident to all that knew her.

She had a great sense of humor, loved to dance and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, sewing, gardening and had many other talents she used to love and bless others. Her love for family fueled her to learn how to master the use of a cell phone and social media, which she used to send craft ideas, recipes and daily encouraging messages to her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you honor her memory by donating toward the purchase of an electric wheelchair for her fifteen-year-old great nephew, Enrique "Kike". Kike is a bright, kind, loving great-nephew with muscular dystrophy. His current wheelchair is broken and his mobility is limited to where his mom can physically carry him. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019 at First Mexican Baptist Church, 201 Freetown Rd., Grand Prairie, TX 75051.
