Orville "Glenn" Garrison Jr., born February 10th, 1939 to parents Orville Glenn Garrison Sr. and Minnie Lee (Mapp) Wood, passed away surrounded by loved ones on August 20, 2022 at 83 years old in Haltom City, Texas.

Glenn graduated from Northside High School in Fort Worth on January 24, 1958. He was on the rifle team & went from Lt. Colonel, Battle Group Ex. Officer in ROTC to Colonel. He was also a member of junior achievement, in the library club, & bible club.

In 1973, Glenn started his own business, best known as "Mr. G's Mustang City". Over the years, the family owned business has known several names as it evolved to provide custom services for classic car aficionados; now known as "Mr. G's Enterprises". He built a reputation for himself dedicating his life to building his legacy. Anybody who's anybody in the car world seems to have heard of, met, or sought him out for his expertise on restoring their vehicles to their original glory, or get their hands on hard to find items he searched long & hard to acquire. The screw kits he created for classic cars were the first of their kind & quickly became popular amongst fellow car enthusiasts.

Once upon a time he was a member of the North Texas Mustang Club, was semi-obsessed with all things cars, & festivals of any kinds. Especially food & art fairs. He was feisty, stubborn, spoke his mind, and had a heart of gold.

The last few weeks he found a love for cracking jokes. The sparkle in his eye and humorous laughter was absolutely priceless. Anyone who knew him would agree he was not a talker, let alone a jokester. We truly enjoyed seeing this new side of him.

Glenn was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and three siblings: Orvaline Garrison, Charles Garrison, & Victor McDougle.

Survived by his wife, Lovena (Ferry) Garrison, of Haltom City, Texas; two sisters Dorothy Brown and Jean Richmond; six children and their spouses: Ruth Nielander and husband Brian of Westminster, Colorado, Glenda Ball and husband Bob of Eastover, South Carolina, Samantha Nierop and husband Nicholas of Lakeway, Texas, Starla Clanin and husband Larry of Keller, Texas, Robin Garrison of Garland, Texas, Jennifer Trevino and husband Baldomero of Haltom City, Texas, and Flynn Garrison, the true baby of the family and loving guard dog; twelve grandchildren: Joseph Arnold, Sarah Nutt, Sarah Underwood, Jeremy Arnold, Becky Wells, Elijah Ball, Briana Nielander, Josh Ball, Ciara Guerrero, Gloria Trevino, Baldomero Trevino, and Ezmeralda Trevino; eight great-grandchildren: Shawn, Lily, Ruby, Rose, Sonny, Mateo, Camila, and Eliana; as well as a host of beloved family and friends.
