Orval L. Mitchell (Lee)

At age 89, Lee passed away, September 17, 2022, at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. Lee was formerly from Knoxville, Iowa. He was the youngest of ten children born to Charlie and Lillie Mitchell.

He loved his wife and family. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed spending time with his family, spending time outdoors mowing the grass on his riding mower, driving his golf cart, watching planes go by, watching birds and NASCAR races. He loved all dogs, especially Nattie and Scotchie.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Yvonne of 48 years, two stepdaughters, Tamara Carlson and Debbie Egly, son-in-law Michael, grandson Blake, one sister Helen and her husband James, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, eight siblings: Maddy Lou, Hale, Clarence, Charles, Robert, Lorraine, Madonna and Dorothy, one stepdaughter Cindy and many friends.

He retired from Vermeer after working over 20 years. He will be cremated, and services will be held at a later date.
