Omar Alaniz, 53, of Arlington passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019.
He was born in Beeville, Texas on July 17, 1965 to Alfonso and Guadalupe Alaniz Sr.
Omar was a friendly man who was full of jokes. He loved sports. Played and coached for a lot of his life. He greatly supported UT longhorns and college football. He had a hidden talent of being an artist. Any time he would put a pencil to a paper no matter the thought would come out a masterpiece. Omar was known by many, Is loved by a lot and will be greatly missed.
Omar is survived by his daughters, Cesily Alaniz and Amber Alaniz; siblings Norma Reyes,
Brother Alfonso Alaniz Jr and Wife Randy, Sister Sheila Alaniz-Rogers and Husband Robbie, Brother Brian Alaniz ; grandchildren Jaden, Brooklynn Rhett, and Olivia Maria; and many more family and friends.
