Nena Lynne McNairn Borah, of Arlington,passed on to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26th, 2018. She was born July 28, 1951 in Gainesville, Texas to W.L. and Joan Midkiff McNairn.
She was a beloved wife, mother, MomMom, and friend to many.
She leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Kenneth Borah; son, Jonathan Borah;daughter & son-in-law, Jeff and Sarah Stapleton; and her grandchildren, Colin, Carley and Caroline-Marie Stapleton who she loved to pieces." She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, her beloved cousins, and 2 aunts.
Nena is preceded in death by her parents W.L. "Tinker" McNairn and Joan Midkiff McNairn, her brother Jackie Paul McNairn, her twin brother Kerry Glenn McNairn as well as her daughter Erin Joanne Borah.
Nena worked as the PPCD intake clerk for Arlington ISD for 26 years. She was the first face that parents with children with special needs would meet when needing testing. She considered it her ministry and had such empathy and experience to make her the perfect and irreplaceable person for that position.

Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 11:00 am. The services will be held at Sagamore Baptist Church at 2301 Dottie Lynn Pkwy. Fort Worth, Tx.
"Mrs. Nena's" family and friends would be greatly honored if -- in lieu of flowers -- everyone would bring an early childhood level book to the memorial service. The books will be donated to PPCD libraries and classrooms throughout Arlington ISD in her memory.
