On February 4th, 2023, Nancy Brooks passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 87 years old. Nancy was well loved in her community where she volunteered at the Shepherd Shop and played the organ at her church, First United Methodist Church of Watauga. Nancy was the mother, grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother to many. Despite her large family Nancy always made time for everyone. She always provided support and love for her family. Her humor was unmatched. Nancy was born August 18th, 1935 to HT & Markalita Worthington. She is survived by her sister Mamie Underhill. She was predeceased by her dear husband Charles Alford Brooks, and by her sons Charles Anthony Brooks and Rodney Jesse Brooks. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy, Cody, Daniel, and Tiffany Brooks; her great grandchildren, Madyson, Taytum, Teagan, Grayson, Arlo, Karter, Leslie and Lillian; her great grandchildren, Karson, Bayleigh, Kendrix, and Ethan. She is loved and will be missed by many.
