On October 6, 2024 Mildred Ann Brown of Saginaw, Texas gave her final breath to this life at 2:52pm with her loving husband, Larry at her side and surrounded by her family in Bedford, Texas at HEB Hospital. She was 63 years old.

Mildred Ann Brown was born Monday, January 16, 1961 to Robert and Mildred (Comerford) Olsen in Bethpage, New York. She was the oldest of four girls and spent her childhood in Bayshore, New York with her family. Mildred joined the US Navy in 1980 and had a twenty-eight year career as a hospital corpsman. It was during her time as a corps school instructor in Great Lakes, Illinois that she met the love of her life, Larry. Mildred had four children; Rebecca, Jason, Jonathan, and Catherine.

She loved her children fiercely and instilled independence and love of family in each of them. Her favorite pastimes were traveling to visitrelatives, crocheting, watching old movies and musicals, and spending time with those she loved. She always made sure that everyone was stocked with chex mix and cookies for the holidays, had a birthday card in the mail, and never let a phone call end without an "I love you". She was a warrior who fought bravely in her later years, with her health, to be here for those she loved so much until the very end. Mildred is preceded in death by her father, Robert Olsen.

She is survived in this life by her beloved husband, Larry Brown; her children, Rebecca Sickels and husband Shayne, Jason Donnelly and wife Sara, Jonathan Van Lew, and Catherine Jackson and husband Matthew; her grandchildren, Cameron Donnelly, Natalie Traughber, Jayme Donnelly, Madelyn Traughber, Graysen Sickels, Bailey Jackson, Isabella Van Lew, and anticipated granddaughter; her mother, Mildred Olsen; her sisters, Patricia Kessler and husband Murrell, Deborah Harrison, and Christine Olsen; Mildred is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
