Michael Joe Williams passed away on May 5, 2019 in Arlington, Texas. He was born January 19, 1964 in Lubbock, Texas, to Larry Joe Williams and Barbara Stevens.Michael attended Grand Prairie High School as well as American High School and graduated in 1981. He served in the United States Army in Fort Ord California during the invasion of Panama. Michael became a long-haul truck driver after leaving the military service.Michael was a loving, caring man who enjoyed family time. He was a wonderful son and a devoted father and grandfather. He loved the Lord, his country, and his family. He will be greatly missed. Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Opal Williams; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Cleo Hahn; as well as uncles, Bill Jr., and Alvin Hahn.
Michael is survived by his children, Kristin Williams, Samantha Morgan and Joseph Williams; grandchildren, Donald Ray Morgan, Aiden Morgan, Michael Willams, and Emerie Williams; father and step-mother, Larry and Colene Williams; mother and step-father Barbara and Dewey Stevens; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Jenny Williams; step-brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Laurie Sikes, step-sister, Christy Sullivan, step-sister and brother-in-law, Cortnie and Jason Kesner; step-sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Tim Perdue; and eight nieces and two nephews.
A memorial celebration of Michael's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Kerens, Texas with Chad Sikes officiating. There will be a luncheon immediately following services. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to
