Michael Ricky Tong, of Arlington, Texas, a beloved brother and uncle, passed from this life on the fifth of January, 2022. He entered this world in Fort Worth, Texas, on the eighteenth of August, 1952. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles Perry Tong and mother, Earlene Corder Tong. He is survived by his sister Charlene Erwin, brothers Wayne, Charles and David Tong, nephews William Erwin and his wife, Andrea, Andrew Tong, and Christopher Tong, several cousins, great nephews, and one great niece.

Michael was a lifelong writer, and was last employed as an Arlington ISD crossing guard for the City of Arlington. After years of faithful service, failing health forced his retirement in the fall of 2021. He will be greatly missed but we find peace in the end of his suffering and the promise that we shall see him again. Rest now, dear brother.
