Michael (Mike) Dale McCalebMansfield--Michael Dale McCaleb, 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2019.Mike was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the son of Jesse McCaleb and Martha Gorman, and was raised in Fort Worth, where he graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1966.

While attending college at Texas Wesleyan University he worked at Pair's Fin and Feather, a pet store owned by his family. He eventually moved the pet store to Arlington and bought it himself renaming it to Arlington Pet Center, which he owned for over 40 years. He was a friend to everyone, and was always quick with a joke and loved to make people laugh. Mike loved to go hunting and fishing and would sneak away to the Dear Lease with the guys every chance he got. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Jesse McCaleb, his Mother Martha Gorman Tucker, and his brother Richard McCaleb.

Mike is survived by his step father, Wayne Tucker; daughter, Carrie Kinzer and her husband Jason Kinzer and their son Jack Kinzer; sons, Michael McCaleb and his wife Jennifer McCaleb, and their son AJ Clark, Garrett McCaleb and his daughter Luvyna, and Colby McCaleb; as well as many more extended family, friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, 6102 W. Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington, TX, 76016.
