With heavy hearts, we announce that Melissa Wilson, age 56, passed away on 12/31/2025 in Irving, Texas where she was raised and surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Melissa was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished sister. She spent many years working in the mortgage industry, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. In recent years, she focused her energy on her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and purpose.

Melissa truly loved watching football and was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers. Sentimental values were her three granddaughters, and they were the light of her life. Her love for them was deep and unwavering, and they held a very special place in her heart.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Ricky Eugene Wilson; her daughters, Jessica Nicole and Brittany Lynne Martinez; her three granddaughters Bella, Naomi and Delilah Deanda; her loving parents, Antonio Villarreal Martinez and Consuelo Medrano Martinez; and her siblings; sisters Maria Isabel Parra and Rachel Bean, and brothers Tony V. Martinez Jr. and Paul Martinez.

Melissa will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, and the love she gave so freely to those closest to her. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

There will be a private family gathering to honor Melissa at a later date.
