Maxine Leonard, 83, of Arlington, Texas died on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
She was a member of The Assemblies of God Faith. Mrs. Leonard was a very loving and giving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Leonard; son, Mikel Trice; parents, Rev. Byrd and Edna Alexander; sisters, Kathleen, LulaBell, and LaNell.
Survivors include daughter, Sylvia Jaffrey; brother; Burble Alexander and wife, Ann; sister; Darcy Bussey and husband, James; Grandchildren, Shannon Simis, Jason Trice, Jessica Sanchez and husband, George, Adam Bowman and wife, Jenna, and Sean Jaffrey and wife, Shannon; Great-grandchildren, Michael, Kali, Kelsea, Levin, Brock, Natalie, Layla, Robert, Brylie, James, and Jacob; Great-great grandchildren, Maverik and Kaiser.
She loved her special kiss she gave her children and grandchildren she called "The Shocker!!" She loved her lifelong career as a barber, traveling, cooking, and giving gifts either large or small, but to the recipient the gift always seemed huge!! She was a generous giver but above all she was always willing to give of herself..She also loved to sing Gospel with an angelic voice. Lastly, she loved her lifelong best friends, Bea and Molly.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 14th at The Grace Place at 3 pm.
