Martha "Perky" Peterson, passed away peacefully at the age of 80, on Sunday November 21, 2021 with her daughter by her side.

She was born in Frederick, Maryland on June 30, 1941 to Curtis and Helen Handley. She married Terry K. Peterson in 1960. They resided in Silver Spring, Maryland until 1966 when the U.S. Navy commissioned Terry and his family to Texas. Martha worked as an LVN and retired from Arlington Memorial Hospital after 29 years. She enjoyed reading, yard work, her birds and squirrels, watching golf and the Texas Rangers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry; son, Stephen Peterson; and grandson, Clint Gilmore.

She is survived by her daughter, Randy Davidson (Alfonso); brother, Larry "Butch" Handley (Debbie); grandson, Brian Davidson (Joanne); great-grandson, Luke Davidson; niece, Angela Stubblefield (Jason); and sister-in-law, Jo Ellen Glymph (Jimmy).
