She first saw the world in Williamsport, Pa on January 15, 1927. The third daughter of Ray and June Fenstemacher Munson. She attended the Lincoln School until the family moved to Tonawanda in 1936. The family moved to North Collins in the Spring of 1941. Where she attended school with 11 brothers and sisters. While going to school she, Ester, and Rhea all worked doing household chores for families in the community. Marie worked for the village Physician, Dr. Thornbury.

In the Spring of her junior year, she left school to help support the family. Working for the Office of Price Administration, (the rationing office). One memorable task was distributing gasoline stamps to soldiers on leave. At war's end the job was discontinued. She subsequently entered Elim Bible institute in Hornell, N.Y. graduating three years later. Her first employment after graduation was as a nanny for a widowed Mrs. Dickerson who had 4 children while serving as a youth pastor. Following which she joined her sister Esther in a small church in Holcomville, N.Y. (the birthplace of John D. Rockefeller). Following her marriage to George (Bud) Glezen in 1952 the couple lived in several places in Central New York. Finally settling down in Cortland to raise their four boys, George, Dan, John, and Randy. Marie worked in a garment factory supervising the placement and cutting of patterns, careful to utilize every inch of fabric.

While raising the boys, Marie busied herself at Parkside Assembly Church superintending Sunday School and assisting in Vacation Bible School. She later Joined her sister Esther and Harry Tripp at Cortland Christian Assembly of God Participating in the planning and moving into the new building. After retirement, Marie was called upon to return to the Homestead to help in the care of her Mom and Dad.

She enjoyed the Christian fellowship in Gowanda and Hamburg Assemblies. With selling of the Homestead in 2005, Marie and Irene moved to an apartment in Hamburg. Then both moving to Bethel Estates, getting help from niece, Sharon. Enjoying lunch dates with Grace, June and whomever was available.
