Linley Clyde Taylor

May 31,1940 - August 24, 2022

Born in Concord, N. C. to Mr. Linley Sylvester Taylor and Madeline Carpenter Taylor.  He graduated from Concord High School and joined the Navy in 1959.  He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1969. During that time he served 2 years during wartime earning the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

After the Navy he moved to Texas where he worked for Texas Instruments for a number of years.  Later he started his own air conditioning business called T. C. Heating and Air Conditioning.  He continued this business until 2021.  For over 50 years he  called Garland, Texas his home.  He was an avid reader and enjoyed astronomy, his dogs, and spending time with close friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and one brother, Marion, all of Concord, N. C.

He is survived by a number of cousins  in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama.
