It is with profound sadness that we, the family of Lawrence (Larry) Rouse, announce his passing on May 19, 2022 in Arlington, TX.

Larry was born to Lawrence Rouse and Mary Rouse on August 3 ^rd , 1943 in Kansas City Missouri.  Larry was proceeded in death by his Father, Mother, Brother David Rouse, son Turley Rouse and grandsons Paul Rouse and Brandon Rouse.  Larry grew up primarily in Missouri the eldest of four children. Larry joined the Marine Corp in 1963 serving in Vietnam, Okinawa and various bases in the US.  Larry retired from the Marine Corp in 1989 and worked for the Arlington Police Dept for 16 years retiring in 2009 .  Larry's great hobby was fishing.  A hobby he spent many hours enjoying.

Larry is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rouse, brother Stephen Rouse and Sister Mary Rouse along with his children Dempsey Rouse, William Rouse, Scott Rouse, Janet Pence, Cindy Bair and Penny Rouse, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

In keeping with his wishes, a cremation and private service is planned.
