It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Larry D. Capps, 68 of Dallas on Monday April 7, 2025 peacefully surrounded by family. Larry was born on May 4, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to the late Howard and Oleta Capps. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and so much more to those who knew him. He leaves his legacy through his wife, Holly of 42 years, his sons, Sean, Steven and Chris; and his granddaughter, Makaila who was the sparkle in his eyes. Larry was loved dearly by his family and friends and he will be missed by all.

A life well lived, Larry loved classic cars and trucks and would go to the shows every chance he could. He was devoted to his beloved Dallas Cowboys even when they were not winning. He enjoyed camping, taking road trips and spending time with family and friends. He loved listening to music, his favorite was Stevie Ray Vaughan, and his love for Twinkies was a testament to his appreciation for the simple joys in life.

Larry's memory will live through everyone whose life he touched. His family is at peace knowing that they now have an angel to guide them through life until they are reunited with him again.

In remembrance, there will be a Celebration of Life on May 3, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Those who knew and loved Larry are welcome to join the family. Please RSVP at 469-879-8308.
