The world lost an amazing, bright light on February 20, 2020. The world will laugh a little less and not shine as brightly because God decided it was time for Kristina to bring her light and laughter to Heaven. She had such wit and snark, making quick friends of strangers. All those around her were pulled in by her infectious laughter, smile, and sparkle in her crystal blue eyes. She could brighten even the darkest of days, making those around her laugh with tears. Even on her sickest, roughest days, Kristina never complained and had a smile on her face; she wanted to make those around her feel loved and happy.

She had a deep passion for animals. She rescued as many as she could; can you say crazy cat lady?! Those she was unable to rescue, she helped raise money and awareness for. Kristina did not like having animals on the streets or sad in shelters; she wanted all animals to have loving homes and she worked hard for so many to get that. She was greeted in Heaven by her loving grandmother, B'Bobbie (Faye) and her grandfather, Neal.

She left behind two daughters she loved fiercely, Haley Marie and Aleigha Faye, in addition to Aleigha's husband Robbie, her mom, Bobbie, all from Texas and her sister, Stephanie of NC, as well as her stepmother, Kerry and sisters Andrea and Rachel. She also has many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends that will miss her intensely. She will be missed by so, so many.

A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at Midlothian Civic Center on March 15, from 5 pm to 10 pm.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in her name to an animal charity of your choice.
