Kelly James Schoen was born to Jack and Evelyn Schoen on June 26, 1961 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He passed away at home on February 18, 2024 at the age of 62 with his wife, Elizabeth, by his side.

Kelly was a hard worker who was always busy. He went to Memorial High School, studied at the American Banking Institute of Banking, and received his certification in carpentry from Wyndham Vocational School in 2009. Kelly owned Kelco Lawn Service in Kaufman County, Texas.

Kelly was a loving husband. It wasn't unusual for him to surprise his wife with flowers or a luxury automobile.  He enjoyed acquiring vintage items and restoring them. Kelly shared his love of animals with his wife, which led to him starting a small cattle ranch.

Kelly is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; brothers, Mark and Brad; daughter and son-in-law, Jena and Chad Kloepfel; grandchildren, Dravin, Payton, Kadence, Elijah and Keira; stepson, Marlon Pereira; and step-grandchildren, Dylan and Jordan.
