Kathy Joan Clark Ross, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Universal Health Services in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 66.
Kathy was born on October 16, 1954, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she grew up and graduated from George Washington Carver Senior High School in 1972. Kathy married her one and only love, Gregory Ross and shared an unbreakable bond for the past 48 years. From that bond, they had 2 children.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Clark and Rose Mary Thomas. Her brother, Jerry Thomas; her sister, Avis Baker; and her brother-in-law, Robert Turner. Along with her mother-in-law, Delores Ross Bauman.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Gregory Ross; her daughter, Zephra (Michael) Shaw; her son, Daniel Gregory Ross; one granddaughter, Kelsey Reion Joseph; and two step-grandchildren, Taylor and Rylee Shaw.
Kathy is also survived by her sisters, Orazella Turner, Julaunda (Andrew) White, Karen (Roosevelt) Tadlock and Artiz Thomas-Davis. And her in-laws, Cassandra (Alphonse) Batiste, Lionel (Patti) Bauman Jr., Armentia Odelugo, Yolanda (Lionel) Hills, Kenneth (Arlette) Bauman, Nathaniel (Laura) Bauman, Donna Dee Bowman and Miriam Bauman. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives all of whom she dearly loved.
Kathy died faithfully serving as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for the past forty-six years. There will be a Virtual Memorial Service via Zoom on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Beginning with a Memorial Slide Show at 3:45 p.m. Immediately followed by the Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m.
