Kathleen (Kathy) Marie Munn, 64, passed away June 27, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas.She was born in Wharton, Texas on November 20, 1953 to Albert Lee Munn and Norma Jean Phillips. Kathy worked as the Director of Health Information Management at MHMR for over 30 years. She was a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a long-time member of the American Health Information Management Association.

Kathy was a dedicated member of Metropolitan Community Churches and was a beloved member at Agape' Metropolitan Community Church for 30 years where she served on the Board of Directors as both Clerk and later as Vice Moderator. She also served as the churches Lay Delegate, Webmaster, FaceBook Administrator, Data Base manager, Newsletter editor, video tech, choir member and she coordinated preparing meals and serving them at Samaritan House, an organization that provides housing for women and men living with HIV/AIDS.

She is survived by her mother, Norma Jean Phillips; sister, Lee Ann Bowers and her husband Dennis Bowers; nephew, Justin Bowers and his wife Tammy, nieces, Kristen Bowers and her husband Christopher, Stacy Greenawalt and her husband JD, Shannon Ellington and her husband Aaron; nine great-nieces and nephews, Wesley, Paxton, Emily, Jayce, Skylar, Preston, Brooke, Shelby and Luke; as well as hundreds of members of her spiritual family at Agape MCC and the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches.

The Celebration of Kathy's life, "Munnfest", will be held at Agape' Metropolitan Community Church, 4615 E. California Parkway, Forest Hill, Texas 76119, on Saturday, July 14, at 11:00 a.m. We will share a meal following the service in the Agape' Social Hall.
