On October 21 ^st , 1946 Kathy was born to the parents of Geraldine and William Jack Jenkins. Kathy grew up in Grand Prairie and attended Grand Prairie schools and graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1965. While in High School, Kathy met  Jimmie Duvall and the two got married on Christmas Eve 1964.

Throughout her life Kathy always worked and with her work she travelled many different states. After a lengthy career Kathy decided to retire in 2008 where she remained a housewife and mother. Kathy loved family life and made herself available to anybody that needed help, she was never short on giving advice. Anybody that knew Kathy would tell you she is dynamite in a small package and never backed down from a good challenge. Kathy took her illness as a challenge and fought it for as long as she could.

The holidays were a special time for Kathy as she loved decorating and was a perfectionist when it came to decorating the tree. Kathy always made sure her family had a great Christmas every Christmas.

Kathy most certainly will be missed and it will take a momentous effort for things to get back to normal but that's what she would want and expect and for all of us to remember the good things not dwell on her sickness and passing.

Kathy leaves behind her husband of 57 yrs. Jimmie Lon Duvall of Grand Prairie, a son Jeffrey Lon Duvall of Grand Prairie, two sisters- Diana Hendricks of Huntsville, TX, Lisa Lanham of Burleson, TX  and several nieces and nephews.

The Lord giveth life and the Lord taketh life but for those who believe and trust unto the Lord, life will not end but be eternal.
