Barbara "Joyce" Lagow, age 80, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Joyce was born on September 14, 1939 to Ruby and Herbert McDaniel in Dallas, Texas.
Joyce was a kindhearted woman who dedicated decades to teaching Sunday school at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Grand Prairie. She had an unwavering bond with her family and always expressed her love for them and the importance of tradition. Her kindness, generosity, and selflessness were not left unnoticed. Many people can say that she contributed molding them into who they are today. Being a woman of faith, she set the path for her family's core values and taught them the importance of having a relationship with God.
Joyce was preceded in death by the love her life, Michael Lagow.
She is survived by her sons, Mark and wife Lynette, Rusty and wife Lana, and Scotty; sisters, Janet Mcleroy and Diane McDaniel; grandchildren, Matt, Kristin, Kayli, Garrett, Riley, Chelsey and Macy; 3 great grandsons, Kaden, Liam and Lucas; 2 great granddaughters, Brynli and Kynlee; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joyce's Memorial Service will be 11:00am Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Grand Prairie.
