Joyce "JJ" Redell Jones, born on March 11, 1939 to parents, Frank Jones and Ruth Ann Bullock Jones in Manhattan, "Harlem", New York. She accepted Christ at a young age and was very talented in a variety of crafts; cooking, sewing, interior design, clothing merchandising, hair styling and jewelry making just to name a few.
She acquired her license as a Cosmetologist, an Associates, Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Substance Abuse Counseling and was a PhD Candidate.
Ms. Jones was proceeded in death by her mother and father; brother Robert Jones, sons, Leonardis "Lenny" Maurice Dalrymple and Rodney Lewis; Dear friend and former husband, Colden Alexander Quick and is survived by her daughter, Nicole Dalrymple-Hall, (Tony Wayne Hall), grandchildren, Ethan Dalrymple-Hall and Ivana Yanique Hall; great grandchildren, Kadence Andrew Dalrymple-Hall and Mason Maurice Wright Dalrymple-Hall and a host of goddaughters and godsons, extended family and friends.
Ms. Jones aka JJ, Olufemi, Mommy, Queen Nana went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 11:47 am.
She will be greatly missed as she filled so many lives with love, laughter, creativity, knowledge and wisdom.
