Joshua Scott Searcy

12.17.1988-08.25.2022.

Josh passed away August 25, 2022, at Baylor Scott &White All Saints Medical Center in Ft. Worth Texas after a short aggressive illness.

Josh aka Milkweed, was born in Fort Worth, Texas where he spent most his life in Euless, Texas. Played football for Euless Trinity Trojans and graduated from Trinity in 2007.

He adored his kids loved them more than anything and would never say no to a pond, fishing hole or anything that would include getting outside and roughing it.

Milkweed leaves behind his wife Andrea Watson Searcy, and four kids Zander Searcy, Jax Searcy, Catherine Henson, and Jesse James Watson.  His Dad Scott Searcy, Mom Kathy, his three brothers Christopher Searcy, Curtis Searcy and Patrick Searcy.   And many other niece's , nephews, aunt's, uncles and many many friends.

Joshua's illness was recently discovered but was in the severe and final stage that treatment could not prevent the inevitable.

He was strong to the very end and now is released from his pain and suffering.

He was a straightforward, honest and extremely loyal husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Many trusted Milkweed and loved him dearly.  He always made time for his brothers and friends. Josh always had time to cook a great meal for everyone to enjoy. He gave advice when it was needed and comforted those that need to be hugged. He would never stand at the rear but stay by your side during a struggle. He didn't let you go through it alone. Josh rode the wave with you...

Many grieve his death, but he would want us to celebrate his life. He would want us to smile, remember the good times, and all adventures we had. He would want to be remembered for how he  lived during the best times of his life.
