In Loving Memory

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Joseph Dean Osborn who left us on November 5th, 2025, at the age of seventy-six. Joe was a cherished sibling and friend to many and will be remembered for his unique personality, humor, sweet laugh, and kindness.

Born on May 5th, 1949, in Big Spring, Texas, Joe grew up with challenges but overcame them and lived on his own for forty plus years. He worked at Arlington Memorial Hospital for thirty-seven of those years before retiring several years ago. He enjoyed his many friends and having meals and coffee with them at his favorite neighborhood spots. He was an avid collector and had a vast collection of snow villages, coins, and sports memorabilia, particularly the San Francisco 49'rs whom he adored. He loved photography as well, and pictures he had taken were published in the yearly calendar at the Arlington Memorial Hospital.

Joseph Dean Osborn is survived by his sisters including Mary Roberts and her husband John Roberts, Beverly Green and her husband Tim Green, Sharon Butts, Sharleen Jennings, Teresa Liner, brothers Jerry Osborn and his wife Diane, and Ronnie Osborn and his wife Cindy,  as well as many friends, nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Osborn, sisters Barbara Olson and Carol Albert, and brother Phil Osborn.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for a Mass and memorial service on December 6th, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, Texas. All who knew Joe are welcome to join in celebrating a life well lived.

Joe's memory will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made in the name of Joseph Dean Osborn to the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
