Josefina del Socorro Baldelomar de Ortega, 92, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on 08 January 2024.

She was born to parents Manuel Baldelomar and Ana María Gallo, on 11 October 1931 in Granada, Nicaragua.

Josefina met her husband Agustin Simeon Ortega in 1959. They were married in 1960 in Cartago, Costa Rica. Together they raised 4 children: Concepcion, Agustina, Ana Coralia, and Agustin.

Josefina enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were a great joy in her life. She was so proud of them.

Josefina is survived by three daughters: Concepcion Ortega, Agustina Ortega, and Ana Coralia Ortega; a son: Agustin Ortega; 5 grandchildren: Silvio Lopez (Yaile); Josephine Williams (Dale); Matthew Voss; Jonathan Lopez: Jacob Voss (Ruth); and by her great-grandchildren: Caleb and Christian Williams; Caliana, Mia, Vito, Rosalina, Arliana, Agustin, Leonardo, and Duglas Lopez.

Josefina is also survived by her many friends.

A celebration of Life Mass will be held at a later date.
