Obituary

Jonathan Rouss Tarvin, 39, of Carrollton, TX passed away on September 26, 2022 suddenly at his home.  Jonathan (also known as Tarvin to his friends) was born in Dallas, Texas on April 20, 1983 to Charles (Chuck) Clayton Tarvin and Amy Dawn McCaulley-Wallace Barnett.

When he was a baby we moved to San Jose, CA until he was five.  After that he attended Carrollton and Plano schools, graduated from Plano East High School and attended Collin County Community College and The University of North Texas.  He enjoyed and excelled at playing the trumpet where he earned many awards and accolades.  He worked as a Sr. Analyst at Vizient Inc, and previously held positions with Tracy-Locke, JCPenney and N-Gen Studios.

Jonathan was so kind, and was very much loved by his many friends and family.  He had a generous and caring heart for everyone.  He was so smart and was good in everything he did at work, projects he worked on at home.  He had the Tarvin sense of humor which made him different but so funny, never knew what he would say at times.  Jonathan was a loving husband and father, and always had a special place in his heart for the family dogs, Arya, Dany and Piper.

His loving wife, Marie, preceded him last April in death.  Jonathan is survived by his two young sons, Joseph, 7 and Levi, 2, of the home; Father, Charles Clayton Tarvin (Lydia), Grand Prairie, TX; Mother, Amy Dawn Barnett (Dan), Hot Springs Village, AR; brothers, Derek Fulton Tarvin (Marci), Austin, TX; Aaron Michael Tarvin (Nicol), San Marcos, CA; David Andrew Tarvin (Val), Gilbert, AZ; Grandmother, Nelda Merle Wallace, Denton; numerous Nieces and Nephews.

The entire Tarvin family are grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support from Jonathan's friends.

Family plans to have private services.  Announcement will be made when a Memorial tree will be planted in nearby park for family and friends to attend.  The family wishes to convey their deep gratitude for all the support from friends and co-workers.
