John William Fennell, 66 died at his residence on June 13,2019. He was born on August 12, 1952 in Wise County, Texasto William Leroy and Minnie Mae Fennell.He worked construction as a heavy equipment operator most of his life. He was also a truck driver owned his own truck and was retired from Bodle Farms. John resided in Rocket and loved his home right off of Red Oak creek!
John is survived by his son, John William Fennell Jr and wife Linda, daughter Chastity Renee Morgan, 7 Grandchildren, John Fennell 3rd, Kelly Fennell, Cassidy Morgan, Kristin Morgan, Cody Powell, Tiffany Powell, and Jacob Powell.Sister, Wanda Roberts, Sister Loretta Kubin and husband David, Sister-in-law Kim Fennell and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Lee Ann Wimberly,father, mother, sister Billie Gutierrez, brother Mike Fennell, infant sister's Dora Fennell and Christy Fennell.
John was a family man and he loved his kids and grandkids very much.
John grew up in the Palmer, Texas area and loved life. He was an avid swimmer when he was younger, and he was proud of the fact he swam the length of Bardwell lake bridge with his brother Mike and friend, Buddy Taylor.
Johns memorial is scheduled for June 29, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Palmer,TX.at 10 AM. The address is 200 S. Sherman St., Palmer,TX. 75152
