Joel Paul Colbert born in Idabel, Oklahoma on May 09, 1940 passed away Tuesday, December 25th, 2018.
A loving and dedicated husband, who was blessed with three sons, three grandsons and two great granddaughters. He loved music and had an amazing talent for the drums which allowed him to play with the likes of Chuck Berry and Roy Orbison on occasion during his career. He loved his Dallas Cowboys and his Oklahoma Sooners.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Evans Colbert and his mother Aralee Ticknor Colbert and his wife Eva Gayle Colbert.
Left to cherish his memory are his three wonderful sons, Joel Wayne Colbert, Paul Evans Colbert II and wife Michelle, Russell Bryan Colbert, his three grandsons, Corey, Joshua, Gavin, his two great granddaughters, Chloe and Jocelynn who are the only females born into the Colbert family in several generations.
The family will be having a private ceremony.
