Joan L. Butler-Cary's love of life did not come to an end with her death. Joan passed away July 30, 2021 at the age of 70 after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her memory and legacy by living life to the fullest. Joan was born to Herman and Virginia Butler on May 15, 1951. Joan was a Licensed Certified Opticianand had worked in the field for over 45 years. Joan took pride in helping people. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Joan. Joan would often make stained glass pieces, oil paint or create some kind of master piece while crafting.She had an uncanny ability to see value in all things and all people. Her gentle personality was overwhelming and appreciated by all. She was beautiful inside and out and always looked like a lady.She always had time to help another. Joan loved the Lord with all that was in her and was always praying for others. Anyone that would encounter Joan would know that she had an enormous amount of faith. Joan is in heaven with Jesus enjoying her time with loved ones that have gone before. She is greatly missed.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Tanya M. Page; son-In-law, Vincent R. Page; grandson, Draden A. Page; granddaughter, Alexis E. Page; brothers, Donald & Gordon Butler; and sister, Nancy McEndree.
