Jerry Calvin Westerfield of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away Tuesday 9 February 2021. His loving wife of 51 years, Carol Donna (Hamilton) Westerfield passed away the same day (different causes).

Jerry was born in Batesville Arkansas 19 Sep 1947. As a young child his family moved to Indiana, where he spent most of his childhood. Upon graduation from Lawrence Central High School in Indiana, he moved to Joliet, Illinois where he met Carol. They eventually settled in Texas where he spent most of his adult life.

Jerry served in the Army Reserves. He retired from America's Beverage in Irving Texas. He was an avid football fan, and a nature and camping enthusiast. He got great joy from his pets Boots and Choco.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father and mother, OC and Viola Mae (Boswell) Westerfield; his sister, Anetta Carol Westerfield; brothers, John Wayne Westerfield, and Robert Franklin Westerfield; his sister-in-law, Leila Lynn Westerfield; his nephew, Robert Franklin Westerfield Jr.; and niece, Robin Lynn (Westerfield) Wallace.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Ann (John) Letsinger; step-mother, Jean Westerfield Stivers; step-sister, DeeAnn (Jimmy) Smith; nieces, Belinda and Dawn Westerfield; nephew, Allen Wood Jr.; his sister-in-Law, Connie Westerfield; his aunt, Rebecca Wells Miller; and many great nieces and nephews and cousins.
