Jean (Suit) McQuiston, age 92, passed away peacefully February 17, 2024 with her daughter at her side.

Jean was born January 12, 1932 in Missouri to Irene LaHay and Walter Suit. She married John McQuiston on October 17, 1948 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and eventually settled in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She enjoyed her family, knitting, gardening, and her St. Louis Cardinals – every game she watched with the television on mute while listening to the sports announcers on the radio. She never missed an episode of The Price is Right.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Diane Reed, and husband, Larry, and Debra McQuiston; Son, Jerry Hunter and wife, Maryann. Grandchildren, Christy, and husband, Drew, Shawndell, and husband, Chris, Lisa, and husband, Jason, Levi, Jon, and wife, Breanna, Travis, and wife, Erienne, West, and wife, Kayla, Ryan, and Trevor; great-grandchildren, Cody, and wife, Ayla, Hunter, Gavin, Shalee, and husband, Hunter, Jaina, Gatlin, Lane, Rachel, and Madden; and great-great-granddaughter, Ella.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, John McQuiston, and daughter, Donna McQuiston.
