Jean L. Belisle, 64, passed away on Friday July 16, 2021 due to respiratory complications from pneumonia and stage 3 lymphoma.
A celebration of life will be held in Wichita, KS at a later date.
Jean was born on November 22, 1956 in Decatur, Illinois. She graduated from Cerra Gordo High School in 1974. She attended Flamingo Beauty College in Decatur, Illinois, where she became a licensed cosmetologist. Jean had a passion for cosmetology and even taught and instructed at her beauty college.
Jean loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and enjoyed spending time with fellow bikers, motorcycle enthusiast and playing darts with the girls. She loved classic rock, especially Janis Joplin and The Rolling Stones. And, she always enjoyed a good time gathering with family and friends.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Shawnna Dunnegan of Wichita, KS; grandson, Patrick Belisle of Wichita, KS; half-brother, John Davis, Sr. of Warrenton, MO; brother, Dan Davis of Dawsonville, GA; stepsister, Deb Simler of Wichita, KS; half-sister, Barb Pelzl of Wheeling, WV; and half-brother, Steve Alcanter of Arlington, TX.
