James R. Schmidt, 81, has gone to God.He will prepare a place for his family so they will reside together in Heaven when they arrive.He leaves his wife of 55 years, Shirley Schmidt, daughter Kellie (Schmidt) Hobbs, his sons James Michael Schmidt, Jim Wagner, David Wagner, stepsons Alan and Steve.He also leaves 8 grand children.A "Celebration of life" for James Schmidt will be held at First Baptist Church Grand Prairie950 Mayfield Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 starting at 2 pm. on November 8th, 2019.
